Power System Network is expanding manifold and the need for monitoring network on Real Time basis to ensure optimum power system operation necessiated establishment of modern Computarised Load Despatch Centers.In order to achieve this objective a Unified Load Despatch And Communication Scheme is being implemented.

This Scheme has replaced , upgraded and augmented existing facilities.

This System Coordination and Control Project is being financed from a world bank Loan.

In order to implement NR ULDC Scheme following packages were taken up.

1. Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition System / Energy Management System
2. Fiber Optic Communication
3. Microwave Communication                         Wide band Communication Diagram
4. Power Line Carrier Communication./PABX
5. Auxiliary Power Supply
6. Hardware

•  Most Complex System covering 15 Electrical utilities spread over 10 Lakh Sq. km with 33 control centers and 369 Remote Terminal Units.(RTUs).
